Job summary

Glanbia seeks a Data Product Owner to define and manage the Data Product vision, strategy and end-to-end delivery within the Data, AI & Analytics function. You will translate business objectives into technical data product solutions and lead a team to embed these products into key processes.

Based in Kilkenny/Dublin with hybrid working, you will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, govern data products for security and compliance, and drive automation and AI-driven insights to maximise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications highly desirable (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Agile Methodologies, CPM, SAFe Product Owner).
• 8+ years of experience in Data Product management or related roles.
• Experience delivering data from requirements elicitation to design and deployment.
• Hands-on with BI tools and data engineering frameworks (Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Azure Databricks, SQL, Python).
• Proven track record defining and executing Data Product strategies.
• Experience working with Customer and/or Consumer data.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Defines the Customer and Consumer Data Product vision and strategy, aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify challenges and translate needs into technical requirements.
• Align resources with prioritised programme of work and data product backlog.
• Scope technical requirements with data platform teams and solution architects.
• Prioritise data product solutions and manage ad-hoc requests to fit priorities.
• Lead the Data Product team to deliver the roadmap and measure performance.
• Collaborate with Data Governance, security, and compliance teams to ensure secure, compliant products.
• Act as escalation point for data solutions quality and performance.
• Foster continuous improvement and horizon scanning for emerging technologies.
• Encourage automation, self-service analytics, and AI-driven insights.
