Job summary

Glanbia seeks a Value Stream Programme Manager in Dublin with responsibility for coordinating the Customer and Consumer programme with Product Managers to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality outputs that meet Business and IT needs.

You will lead resource planning, governance and reporting across front-office and other value streams, guiding delivery and sign-offs while managing risks and budgets. Hybrid Dublin work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' experience managing complex Business/IT programmes/projects.
• Experience leading geographically and culturally diverse teams.
• PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates project and BAU delivery across Customer and Consumer teams to ensure governance and reporting.
• Develops feasible plans for programme objectives, anticipating challenges and guiding outputs.
• Partners with Product Managers to assign deliverables and sign-offs across project teams.
• Coordinates internal resources and vendors to plan, manage and execute projects.
• Tracks progress and prepares status reports for senior Business/IT management.
• Manages changes to scope, schedule and budget with stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Assesses risks, creates contingency plans, and supports risk mitigation activities.
• Defines project closure criteria and secures formal sign-off from all parties.
• Creates value-add documentation and maintains project templates for consistency.
• Oversees monthly recharge reporting and consolidated workstream planning.

The Opportunity

The Glanbia Team are looking for a Value Stream Programme Manager. This position will be responsible for helping coordinate the Customer and Consumer Program of works in conjunction with the Product Managers, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality outputs that satisfy Business and IT needs. Focusing on coordinating resource planning, project governance and project reporting both within Front office and across other value streams to ensure efficient project delivery.

Primary responsibilities for this role will include:

• Coordinates both Project and BAU delivery across Customer and Consumer team to ensure effective resource planning, project governance and reporting
• Develops a clear and feasible plan for achieving programme / workstream objectives, leveraging experience and expertise to anticipate and actively resolve potential challenges.
• Work in partnership with the Product Managers to ensure clear assignments and deliverables are signed off across the project teams, guiding outputs to ensure a consistent approach to project deliverables, (documentation, requirement gathering, sign-off approvals,
• Co-ordinates internal resources and third parties / vendors to seamlessly plan, manage, and execute projects.
• Tracks delivery progress against the programme plan with the support of Project Manager/Product Owners, preparing status reports to senior Business/IT management as required.
• Engages with key stakeholders across Business and IT and proactively identifies and manages changes to scope, schedule, and budget to ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to deliver on project objectives (e.g., agreed outcomes/ benefits).
• Analyses and manages risks, establishing contingency plans and responsibilities for risk mitigation; creates checklists to guide and support Project Managers on risk mitigation activities (as needed).
• Determines what constitutes successful project closure for all parties; gains acceptance and sign-off by all parties when closure is attained.
• Creates value-add project documentation (e.g., business benefits realisation) and help maintain project templates, encouraging consistency and efficiency in project management practices.
• Tracks resource budgets and manages the monthly recharge reporting process across the Customer and Consumer team
• Maintains a Consolidated view of workstream plans within Front office (Central Channels, Customer, Consumer and Foundation Tech into one plan to view both resource and projects) to support planning
• Supports the roadmap planning for each workstream to build out 6,12 and 18 month views of initiatives.
• Manages the monthly recharge process for resource across the team and reports on actual / budget for monthly status updates with Value Stream Director.

The skills and experience you will bring to the team

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology), or equivalent experience.

Industry certifications highly desirable (e.g. Agile Methodologies)

• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager and/or equivalent roles managing complex Business/IT programmes / projects.
• Experience in managing and providing coaching to geographically and culturally diverse teams.
• Ability to influence and manage senior Business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects to closure, preferably in an IT or industrial business.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies or Business Analysis knowledge.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies preferred, but not essential.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince II, and/or Agile certification is a plus.
• Project management experience in ERP, eCommerce, Data and Analytics, IT Infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 products, MS Power Platform, and Microsoft Project is an advantage.
• Flexible and self-motivated.
