Job summary

B&Q Naas is seeking a Customer Advisor for a part-time 12-hour-a-week role on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You'll be the friendly expert customers rely on for home improvement guidance, helping them choose products and plan purchases.

You'll also stock, set up displays and ensure the store looks its best. Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available, with shifts Monday to Wednesday, 15:45–8, and a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.

What's the job?

Join our team, and you'll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You'll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you'll be right at home with us. You're friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others. You'll have the opportunity to be trained in new technology and learning new ways of working. You're great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
