Job summary

Pure DC Group is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to support hands-on maintenance of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems within a data-centre environment. You will operate on a rotating day/night shift reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, ensuring regulatory compliance and high safety standards.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, manage alarms and fault diagnostics, and contribute to RCA investigations with effective corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
• AP12 / AP15 or equivalent electrical certification.
• IT literate with MS Office and CMMS/CAFM systems.
• Experience maintaining electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Experience in critical environments (data centre, hospital, pharmaceutical, utilities).
• Knowledge of PTW, RAMS, Change Management processes.
• Knowledge of BMS, PPM, CAFM and Change processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Apply PTW, RAMS and change management on shift.
• Act as Authorized Person for electrical switching where applicable.
• Maintain CMMS/CAFM data, maintenance logs, and asset registers.
• Support RCA and implement corrective actions to prevent repeats.
• First-line response to incidents and system faults.
• Assist in alarm management and data extraction.
