Job summary

State Street is seeking a Systems Analyst to support the technical upgrade and ongoing enhancement of clients' hosted CRIMS environments. You will analyse application environments, assess upgrade readiness, troubleshoot issues, support testing and validation activities, and coordinate technical work across multiple teams.

You will work closely with client technology teams, internal engineering, database and infrastructure teams to ensure upgrades are delivered with stability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in systems analysis or production support.
• Experience with enterprise applications and upgrade projects.
• Strong SQL and database skills across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2 or Snowflake.
• Experience cloud-hosted environments and ITIL/process knowledge.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of CRIMS platform upgrades across client environments.
• Analyse configurations, dependencies and readiness for upgrades.
• Support installation, testing (UAT), production cutover and post-upgrade validation.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, configuration, database and integration layers.
• Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with engineering, infrastructure and client teams.
• Review logs, queries, and monitoring outputs to identify problems.
• Maintain technical documentation and upgrade runbooks.
• Support incident, problem, release and change management processes.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Communicate findings and progress to internal teams and client stakeholders.
