Job summary

Irish Life Group Services Limited in Dublin is seeking a Business Support Lead to assist the Chief People Officer. The role focuses on ensuring efficient HR operations, governance, and strategic initiatives. You will coordinate stakeholder engagement, meetings and ROB processes to optimise time and information flow.

You will support HR strategy, governance, and reporting while maintaining dashboards and board-ready information. This role emphasizes collaboration across HRLT and the wider HR team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Business Manager or similar role.
• Strong strategic planning and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen with budgeting experience.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• Ideally a professional certification in Business Studies.
• Experience in financial services and/or HR roles.
• Knowledge of Irish Life/Canada Life organization.
• Understanding of employee value proposition and lifecycle.
• Familiarity with governance, risk and project management frameworks.
• Experience working with AI tools and analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to lead professionals.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder mapping and CPO time management.
• Schedule CPO meetings and prepare briefing materials.
• Develops stakeholder maps and minute-taking for actions.
• Lead Rhythm of Business planning for HRLT & HR.
• Support HR strategy, governance, and compliance.
• Data gathering and analysis for reporting to CPO/HRLT.
• Maintain dashboards and board reporting templates.
• Support engagement and culture initiatives within HR.
