Job summary

Kenny-Whelan, a specialist division of the CPL group, are hiring a Management & Cost Accountant to be based at our clients HQ in Citywest. The role focuses on cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting across LV switchgear and data centre projects, requiring analytical rigor and cross‑functional collaboration with Project Managers.

You will own standard cost cards, BOM costing, overhead allocations and monthly cost centre reporting, while driving process improvements and ERP data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is preferred.
• 3–5 years in cost or management accounting.
• Experience with BOM costing and WIP.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own standard cost cards for products and services.
• Develop BOM costing for manufactured units as inputs or specs change.
• Maintain overhead allocation and absorption costing rates.
• Produce monthly cost centre P&L with commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI tracking.
• Coordinate SAP data integrity and ERP reporting.
