Job summary

TES Recruitment is assisting an established manufacturing operation in North Dublin to recruit a Financial Planning and Analysis/Cost Accountant for a permanent role.

You will partner with senior management to forecast and plan financial data, analyse variances, track sales performance, and report on customer trends and product performance. A strong accounting background and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• An accountancy qualification is essential, preferably CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
• Strong experience using systems, data and analytical tools; Power BI a plus.
• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Strong on relationship building to support stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management in operational and commercial teams to provide forecasting and planning.
• Analyse forecasting plans and give feedback on variances and discrepancies.
• Track sales performance and report on customer trends and product performance.
• Provide detailed analysis on cost of production and identify gaps or strengths.
• Analyse overall business performance including operations, procurement and labour costs.
• Produce weekly financial reports on business performance.
• Provide financial support to key stakeholders within the business.
• Prepare and review forecasts and budgets for divisions.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.

Financial Planning and Analysis/Cost Accountant – permanent position – North Dublin

Are you an experienced commercially focused Accountant looking a fixed term contract role? This operation is very well-established manufacturing operation, who are in strong stage of growth and require an experienced Accountant to work with the business strategy and supporting the stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• To partner with the senior management within the operational and commercial teams to offer details forecasting and planning financial data.
• To analyse the forecasting plans and give detailed feedback regarding the variances and discrepancies.
• To track the sales performance of the business and report back on findings around customer trends and ranking product performance.
• To give a detailed analysis on the cost of production on a regular basis and highlight any gaps or strengths.
• To analyse overall business performance including operational, procurement and labour costs.
• To produce weekly financial reports on business performance.
• To provide analysis and financial support in the management of customer accounts.
• To prepare and review forecasts and budgets for business divisions.
• To provide finance support to key stakeholders within the business.
• To help with Ad hoc reporting and analysis when necessary

Requirements:

• An accountancy qualification is essential, preferably CIMA, ACA or ACCA
• Strong experience using system, data and analytical systems is essential, with an advantage if you know Power BI.
• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Strong on relationship building to support the stakeholders
