Corporate & Foundations Development Lead (Maternity Cover)

Job summary

Aware is seeking a Corporate & Foundations Development Manager for a maternity cover contract based at our Head Office in Dublin 4. The role focuses on securing income from corporate funders, foundations and government sources to fund services we provide across Ireland.

You will develop and manage donor relationships, inform funders of funding needs, submit grant applications and report on impact, while collaborating with the wider Fundraising team to meet annual targets.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical, written and presentation skills to report on impact and make the case for support in applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships to the benefit of Aware and partners.
• Understanding of corporate, foundation and philanthropy structures.
• Ability to solve problems and be flexible.
• Good understanding of English language, and writing.
• 3+ years in a similar role or in account management with high value clients.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Database management.

Responsibilities

• To develop new and maintain existing relationships with key corporate, foundations and philanthropic funders.
• To inform existing and potential donors of Aware’s mission and funding requirements.
• Completing applications for funding as required.
• To report on Aware’s impact to existing funders.
• To research and prospect new donors.
• To work as part of a wider Fundraising team to deliver Aware’s funding needs.
