Job summary

Focus Ireland in Dublin is seeking a Philanthropy Executive to support its fundraising team and help achieve its annual targets. You will work across Trusts & Foundations, Major Giving, Legacy Giving and more to secure new donors and steward relationships.

You will conduct donor research, prepare compelling funding proposals and reports, manage donor communications, and support events while maintaining accurate databases and reporting insights.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification or equivalent transferable experience.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with initiative and creativity.
• Proven ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Strong prospect research and pipeline development skills.
• Strong project, event and budget management capabilities.
• Energetic, collaborative team player.
• Excellent donor stewardship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to achieve ambitious annual income targets as a key member.
• Conduct donor research and prospect analysis.
• Contact prospective donors to schedule meetings.
• Administer donor relationships to ensure high donor experience.
• Prepare funding proposals, impact reports and grant applications.
• Collaborate on in-person donor events.
• Maintain and update information systems and donor data.
• Analyse fundraising pipeline and performance to inform activity.
• Build relationships across the organisation to gather insights.
• Drive database analysis and reporting for decision-making.
• Represent Focus Ireland at meetings, events and networks.
