Job summary

Amicus Search & Recruitment is seeking a Legal Executive for a Donegal/Sligo region role. The successful candidate will manage residential and commercial conveyancing, probate tasks, and daily client communications within a modern, cloud-based practice environment.

We value a minimum of two years' Legal Executive experience, with a strong conveyancing background preferred. Proficiency with Taillte Éireann registrations and case management systems is important.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Legal Executive (candidates with a strong conveyancing background will also be considered).
• Proven track record in Irish conveyancing matters; familiarity with Taillte Éireann registration processes required. Probate experience is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable using case management systems, legal software, and process automation tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong, client-focused approach. Able to work independently and manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Support the progression of a diverse property caseload, assisting with residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from instruction through completion.
• Assist with general practice files, including probate and estate administration, for a regional client base in the North-West.
• Draft legal documentation and correspondence, maintaining active file progression.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day file matters, keeping them informed and escalating substantive legal queries to supervising solicitors.
• Utilize modern cloud-based software to collaborate effectively with colleagues across firm locations.
