Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan are recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the successful delivery of construction projects in Galway. You will plan programmes, monitor progress, and manage subcontractor engagement to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You'll produce reports, forecasts, and costs updates, liaise with site teams and stakeholders, and contribute to senior management planning. A proactive, detail-oriented professional with 10+ years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience as a Contracts Manager.
• Experience managing multiple projects and reporting progress and budgets.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Project; highly organized.

Responsibilities

Contracts Manager - Galway

DOE: €90k – €110K

Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will join the team and play a key role in managing the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing:

• Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the project without delays.
• Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts.
• Ensure correct commercial engagement of subcontractors.
• Liaise with site managers and schedule work as well as monitoring site operations.
• Ability to liaise and coordinate seamlessly with multiple levels of Staff, Departments, Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and any other stakeholders.
• Building successful relationships with Clients, Client Representatives and other 3rd party providers and stakeholders.

What you’ll need:

• 10+ years’ experience as aContracts Manager
• Experience managing multiple projects, ensuring targets are met while monitoring subcontractor performance and providing progress and budget reports.
• Strong ambition to progress within the business and play an active role as part of the senior management team.
• Strong work ethic, excellent IT skills includingExcel and MS Project, with a highly organised and self-motivated approach.
