Job summary
RIP.ie is seeking a dynamic Digital Content Editor to lead our content strategy across our website, social channels and Parting Words podcast. You will own the podcast from concept to distribution and grow our live event series, while guiding a small, in‑house and freelance team.
The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of leading content, strong writing and SEO skills, plus hands-on podcast production and a commercial mindset to turn content into measurable results within Ireland's top grief
Qualifications
- 5-7 years leading content strategies delivering growth.
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling across formats.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, content optimisation and analytics.
- Hands-on podcast production, distribution and promotion experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with high quality standards.
- Commercial mindset with branded content and sponsorship understanding.
- Empathetic and audience-focused handling sensitive topics.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage written, audio and video content for all digital platforms.
- Oversee content calendar and ensure SEO optimisation.
- Lead Parting Words podcast production, distribution and promotion.
- Oversee Parting Words Live events from planning to execution.
- Own KPI framework for web, social, email, podcast and live events.
- Mentor and develop Digital Media Executive and freelance team.
- Coordinate with Media Solutions team for branded content.
- Monitor metrics and report to leadership.
