Responsibilities

• Lead tender submissions from receipt through to final submission.
• Develop winning bid strategies, value propositions and delivery approaches.
• Review tender documentation, employer requirements, clarifications and addenda.
• Drive the overall bid programme and ensure on-time delivery of milestones.
• Act as the central point of coordination for all bid activities.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, planning, commercial and HSEQ teams.
• Manage communications with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate external designers, consultants and joint venture partners.
• Lead development of technical submissions, methodologies and execution plans.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions, programme requirements and cost models.
• Support logistics plans, construction methodologies, resourcing strategies and innovation proposals.
• Contribute to technical bid writing and content development.
• Lead tender governance and quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate internal approvals, sign-offs and quality reviews.
• Coordinate red team reviews and final submission checks.

Construction Technical Bid Manager | Dublin

A leading construction and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the development, coordination and submission of complex tender proposals across major civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This is a high impact role that will see you take full ownership of bids from initial enquiry through to final submission, working closely with technical, commercial and operational teams to develop winning strategies and compelling tender solutions.

The Opportunity As Bid Manager, you will be responsible for shaping bid strategy, managing stakeholder engagement and ensuring all submissions are commercially sound, technically robust and fully compliant. You will play a key role in securing major projects while influencing delivery strategy, programme development, commercial positioning and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Bid Leadership
• Lead tender submissions from receipt through to final submission.

Final Submission and Post Tender Activities

• Oversee production of final submissions.
• Coordinate client presentations and interview preparation.
• Manage post tender clarifications, negotiations and client engagement activities.

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience leading complex bids within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction methodologies, planning and commercial delivery.
