Global Professional Consultants Ireland is hiring a Site Agent/Project Manager for their projects in Cork, including ongoing works on bridges and flood defence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years Project Management experience and a third-level qualification in Engineering.

Job description

Due to continued growth, new contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, Ireland’s top Civils Contractor are hiring a Site Agent/Project Manager for projects in Cork. They have ongoing projects in the city centre including work to existing bridges, new bridge installation, flood defence and public realm projects.

Duties

• Management and co-ordination of works on site.
• Ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Liaising with Client Representatives and partaking in meetings.
• Commercial control of day-to-day operations for projects.
• Management of direct crews & sub-contractors.
• To promote high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on site.
• Procurement of materials.
• Develop and deliver the project, on time, to budget, and quality.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years Project Management experience in Ireland or the UK.
• Third level qualification in Engineering
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• An excellent communicator and leader who is able to motivate themselves and others to meet stringent deadlines and rise to new challenges with enthusiasm.

Salary

• Salary circa €80k – €90k DOE
