Global Professional Consultants seeks a Civil Site Agent to lead site teams on an 8+ year rail framework around Dublin. The candidate will manage construction activities, set out sites, and coordinate with engineers and surveyors to meet deadlines.

The role requires a degree in engineering or construction, a full driving license, and at least 10 years on civil projects. Benefits include a company vehicle, laptop/phone, and a comprehensive package.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or similar.
• Full driver’s license.
• 10+ years’ experience working on civil projects.
• Commercial experience.
• Design & Build projects preferably.
• Strong experience managing a team of engineers, foreman etc.
• Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.

Responsabilidades

• Managing parts of construction projects.

• Undertaking surveys and setting out sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure they are followed correctly.
• Supervising contracted staff and ensuring packages meet specs, budgets and timescales.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professionals on site.
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
• Preparing site reports and paperwork.
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about materials and pricing.
• Ensuring health, safety and sustainability policies are adhered to.

Civil Site Agent with strong leadership skills required to join one of Ireland’s leading Civil Engineering Contractors working on an 8+ year framework on rail projects around Dublin. You should be able to work alongside various professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a long-term role with a top contractor.

Role:

• Managing parts of construction projects
• Overseeing building work
• Undertaking surveys
• Setting out sites
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
