Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a major residential development on the East Coast of Ireland. This is a site-based role requiring a commanding construction professional who can own the project, lead the delivery team and ensure safety, quality and programme adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience at Project Director level.
• Extensive residential construction/development experience essential.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale residential developments.
• Strong programme, commercial and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality and construction compliance requirements.
• Relevant construction, engineering or project management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the residential development.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the project team.
• Manage delivery from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate the site management and wider project teams.
• Manage programme, budget, quality, health & safety and project performance.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
• Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with planning, design and statutory requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Report project progress, key issues and performance to senior management.
• Drive high standards of construction quality and health & safety.
• Manage the successful completion and handover of the development.

My client are a growing residential developer delivering high-quality housing developments across Ireland. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major residential development on the East Coast.

The Role

The Project Director will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, providing senior leadership from pre-construction through to completion. This is a site-based position, requiring an experienced construction professional who can take ownership of the project, lead the delivery team and ensure the development is delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Residential development experience is critical for this position.
