Job summary

Weltec Engineering is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to lead the delivery of commercial and industrial mechanical projects in Ireland. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing site teams and coordinating with project stakeholders.

You will oversee planning, installation, commissioning, and on-site coordination with clients and trades, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with a National Craft Certificate or relevant third level qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory/foreman role.
• Proven leadership with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, installation, and commissioning across commercial and industrial sites.
• Manage on-site trades, apprentices, and subcontractors to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work scopes.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades for smooth site operations.
• Implement scope of work on construction/fabrication and pre-commissioning.
• Manage Site Design and Construction processes.
• Plan resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning across commercial and industrial sites
• Manage on-site trades apprentices, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality, safe, and timely project delivery
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work scopes.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth site operations
• Responsible for implementation of the scope of work on construction/ fabrication, pre-commissioning
• Management of Site Design and Construction processes
• Planning of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Trade qualified with a National Craft Certificate or relevant third level qualification
• 2+ years experience in a supervisory, foreman, or construction management role
• Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on safety and quality
