Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Ireland seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee delivery of large-scale solar PV projects across Ireland. You will manage on-site construction activities, coordinate EPC contractors and site teams, and ensure safety, programme, and budget targets are met.

The role requires a degree in construction management or engineering and at least 5 years’ experience in solar or renewable energy projects, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ construction management experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale solar, renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities across large-scale solar PV projects.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants and site teams.
• Monitor programme, progress, quality and resources.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with design, specifications and project requirements.
• Manage construction schedules and resolve site issues.
• Oversee H&S, environmental and quality requirements.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Review drawings, technical submissions and construction documentation.
• Identify and manage construction risks and provide regular progress updates.
• Support commissioning and project handover.

Construction Manager – Large-Scale Solar Projects

A leading renewable energy developer is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale solar PV projects across Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction activities on site, coordinating contractors and site teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to specification and within budget.
