Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support day-to-day H&S across live construction sites in Ireland. Initially a single-site role with potential to grow into multi-site responsibilities, you will operate independently with daily guidance from the Project and Site Manager.

You will carry out site inspections, RAMS reviews, toolbox talks, safety observations and ensure compliance with Irish H&S standards, engaging with subcontractors and site personnel.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years’ experience in a construction Health & Safety position.
• Background within civil engineering, infrastructure or a main contractor preferred.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH is acceptable but Level 7/8 is preferred).
• Confident working independently without requiring constant supervision.
• Good knowledge of Irish construction Health & Safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across multiple construction sites.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors to maintain safety standards.
• Review RAMS and other project safety documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks, site briefings and safety initiatives.
• Monitor corrective actions and ensure identified issues are closed out.
• Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate H&S records and support project reporting requirements.
• Promote a positive and practical safety culture across project teams.
