Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support commercial construction projects across Cork City and West Cork. You will work closely with project teams to ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on multiple sites.

Responsibilities include implementing procedures, conducting site inspections, and providing training to site teams, while monitoring legislation and maintaining safety records.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and construction regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain health & safety procedures across projects.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Support teams with risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, company policies, and project requirements.
• Provide health & safety guidance and training to site teams.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports.
• Promote a strong health & safety culture across all sites.
