Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is partnering with an established Irish construction contractor in Dublin to recruit a Construction Estimator. You will prepare competitive tenders and support pre-construction and commercial activities.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in construction estimating.
• Main contractor experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and pricing.
• Excellent ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Experience with quantity take-offs and subcontractor procurement.
• Strong commercial, numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with relevant estimating and construction software.

About Your New Role

You will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and supporting the company's pre-construction and commercial activities.
