Job summary

Hyatt Centric Dublin is seeking a Conference and Banqueting Assistant to join its events team. Working within Hodson Bay Group and under the Hyatt Partnership, you will help establish the Hyatt Centric, The Liberties Dublin, as a leading hotel in the Capital.

Role involves setting up and breaking down spaces, coordinating with supervisors, managing AV, and delivering high standards of service for corporate events.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in Conference and Banqueting operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup and breakdown of conference rooms and event spaces to client specifications and hotel standards.
• Support event planning and operational coordination with the Meeting and Events Manager and Supervisor.
• Ensure all audio-visual equipment and other event-related technology are properly set up and functioning.
• Address and resolve client issues or special requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain high service standards and attention to detail to ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee food and beverage service during events.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards.
• Support the wider Food and Beverage department as needed.
