Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Conference & Banqueting Supervisor to support the Conference & Banqueting Manager in delivering exceptional events across our venues in Ireland. You will implement service standards, provide staff training and lead by example during meetings and banquets.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years as a supervisor in banqueting or events, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and communicates clearly to meet guest needs while upholding Dalata values and standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor in Banqueting or Meetings and Events.
• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel is desired but not essential
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills

• Think of new and better ways to work and do things.
• Offer suggestions to make events successful.

As a Conference & Banqueting Supervisor, you will help the Conference & Banqueting Manager keep all standards and procedures in place during events. You will also help build the department by creating and implementing service standards and training for staff.

What You’ll Need

• At least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor in Banqueting or Meetings and Events.
• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel is desired but not essential
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Micros and Opera Experience would be preferable
• Be able to work on your own initiative and cope well under pressure
