Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead front desk operations and deliver outstanding guest service. The role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards across departments.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year in a similar role, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative, guest-focused approach suitable for a 3/4 star hotel environment in Ireland.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee and delegate tasks.
• A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when interacting with staff and guests.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a genuine, warm, friendly welcome for guests from all department personnel.
• Assist in achieving goals related to audits, customer feedback, and hotel standards.
• Help manage front office operations efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with management to maintain high staff morale.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure that all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, and courteous welcome upon their arrival and throughout their stay from all department personnel.
• Assist in achieving goals related to mystery audits, customer comment indexes, quality evaluations, and hotel standards.
• Help in efficiently and effectively managing front office departmental operations.
• Collaborate with the management team to maintain high morale among staff at all times.

What You Will Need:

• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee and delegate tasks to others.
• A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when interacting with both staff and guests.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience with a 3/4 star hotel is essential
