You will be responsible for operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently to produce quality components in line with engineering drawings, work instructions and production targets. Shift Pattern: This role operates on a two-shift rotation — Morning Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm, or Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm. You will work 40 hours per week on a Monday to Friday rotating shift schedule. Compensation: Base Salary of €38,000 per annum plus an 18% shift allowance (approximately €6,840 per annum), giving a total package of approximately €44,840 per annum. The CNC Operative will load materials, select approved programmes, operate CNC machinery and carry out routine tool changes or adjustments within their training and authorisation. They will inspect components using standard measuring equipment, record results accurately and report any quality, safety or machine issues promptly. The postholder will follow all health and safety procedures, maintain a clean and organised work area, complete production paperwork and work collaboratively with production, quality and maintenance colleagues.
Experience in CNC machine-operating experience, or relevant engineering/manufacturing training. Ability to follow engineering drawings, job instructions and quality procedures. Able to use basic measuring equipment, such as verniers and micrometers. Strong awareness of safe working practices and PPE requirements. Reliable, accurate and able to work independently and as part of a team. A degree in Business or Engineering is desirable.
