Job Description

Our client, Wilton Scrap Metals Limited, based in Co. Kildare, is currently seeking Computer Numerical Control Operatives for immediate start at their facility in Naas, Co. Kildare.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years’ CNC operation experience is required. There are no minimum academic requirements. A CNC or related certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and control the computer numerical control machine to execute product orders.
• Program the machines, ensuring required parameters and measurements are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Use manufacturing processes, quality standards and statistical process control to support the role.
• Consult technical resources to ensure equipment availability and monitor automated machines.
• Operate precision measuring equipment, perform machine maintenance and test runs.
• Remove processed workpieces, set up the machine controller and supply the machine with appropriate tools.
• Program CNC controllers, read standard blueprints and correct workpieces.
• Use CAM software, troubleshoot and apply automatic programming.
• Maintain a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a CNC Operative.

Remuneration

Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour.
