Job summary

AVERY DENNISON MATERIALS IRELAND LIMITED in Ireland is seeking a CNC Operative to safely operate CNC machinery, load materials, and follow engineering drawings to meet production targets.

The role offers a two-shift pattern (6:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00), 40 hours per week, with a base salary of €38,000 plus 18% shift allowance (about €6,840), totaling around €44,840 per year; eligibility to work in Ireland and compliance with health and safety procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machine-operating or relevant engineering/manufacturing training.
• Ability to follow engineering drawings, job instructions and quality procedures.
• Able to use basic measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers.
• Strong awareness of safe working practices and PPE requirements.
• Reliable, accurate and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A degree in Business or Engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently to produce quality components.
• Load materials, select approved programmes, and carry out routine tool changes.
• Inspect components using standard measuring equipment and record results.
• Report quality, safety or machine issues promptly.
• Maintain clean and organised work area and complete production paperwork.
• Collaborate with production, quality and maintenance colleagues.
