Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland is seeking a Compliance Policy and Governance Consultant to support the enhancement of policy and governance programs. You will provide project management for the implementation and execution of new processes related to policy development and committee governance, reporting into the Compliance Governance and Policy Manager.

You will collaborate with the Compliance Department to implement new GRC tools, develop a centralized governance repository, and manage deliverables

Qualifications

Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or audit.
Understanding of regulatory, compliance and risk related matters.
Demonstrated experience in governance and policy execution or remediation strategy.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage projects with end-to-end ownership and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

Work with the Compliance Department to implement new GRC tools related to policies.
Develop and facilitate centralized governance repository.
Manage deliverables with a forward-looking mindset and proactive issue handling.
Project manage policy updates and escalate roadblocks with end-to-end ownership.
Help shape best practices, standards, and toolkit for compliance risk.
