Job summary

Boylesports’ Compliance Executive in Ireland is responsible for providing independent assurance that risk management, governance and compliance processes operate effectively. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure departments meet licensing and regulatory requirements.

The role involves QA, reporting, updating policies, and supporting training, as well as assisting with IT projects and compliance communications to ensure ongoing regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in a compliance role and/or experience working in the regulated gambling industry.
  • Ability to engage with multiple work streams within the business.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Compliance Specialist in reviewing internal operational processes.
  • Support the business to ensure all departments meet licensing requirements and act as a point of contact for queries.
  • Identify and document risks and escalate to determine necessary controls.
  • Carry out QA for the operational compliance team and report on actions.
  • Assist with administrative duties including reports and auditing.
  • Review compliance content within Marketing promotions for regulatory adherence.
  • Support betting integrity escalations with regulators and sports bodies.
  • Update compliance areas on the company website to keep information current.
  • Assist with new or amended compliance obligations under relevant laws and standards.
  • Support compliance-related IT projects and testing.
  • Help communicate procedural changes and train relevant teams.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training and related tools with audit-friendly tracking.
  • Maintain policy documents in line with legislative changes and standards.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed and best practices are applied across the group.

Role Purpose

The Compliance Executive at Boylesports is responsible for providing an independent assurance that the organisations risk management, governance and compliance processes and policies are operating effectively, as defined by the Head of Compliance and Compliance Specialists. Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, there will be a high level of support in ensuring all departments comply with the necessary guidance, policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working alongside the Compliance Specialist in the review of internal operational processes
  • Key support to the business in ensuring all departments adhere to the licensing requirements, acting as a point of contact for any queries
  • Identifying and documenting risks associated with business operating processes and escalating these to determine the controls to be put in place to mitigate these
  • Carrying out and reporting on QA for the operational compliance team, working with the management team to ensure proper action is taken as a result of the QA output
  • Assisting the Compliance Specialists and the Head of Compliance in all administrative duties, including production of reports and auditing
  • Support in reviewing the compliance content within all Marketing promotions content, to ensure all relevant regulations are taken into consideration
  • Support betting integrity escalations, such as assisting with queries from regulatory authority betting integrity units, and sport’s governing bodies
  • Support in the update of the compliance areas within the Companies websites, ensure the information is kept up to date and relevant at all times
  • Support on the introduction and implementation of new or amended compliance obligations as set out in relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Assist with Compliance related IT projects and associated testing
  • Support the Compliance team in implementation of required procedural changes, including communication to the relevant business areas and training as and when required
  • Support in the development, coordination and delivery of compliance related training and development requirements across the business
  • Supporting in the development of in house training tools for the use of compliance related training and development, including clear completion tracking for audit purposes
  • Maintain policy documentation in line with changes to legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are followed and that best practices are applied across the group
