Job summary

BOYLE Sports is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to support the Core Compliance team. The role involves independent assurance of risk management, governance and policies across multiple jurisdictions, with close collaboration with the Head of Compliance.

You will monitor internal practices, review processes, document risks, and ensure licensing requirements are met while upholding the company's values.

Qualifications

  • Formal compliance qualification desirable (preferably within the gambling sector).
  • Auditing qualification and/or equivalent experience.
  • Responsible Gambling training.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regular monitoring of internal practices meets regulatory requirements within the relevant jurisdictions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on regulation within the required jurisdictions.
  • Review internal operational compliance processes with the Compliance Specialist and document risks.
  • Carry out QA for the operational compliance team and report actions.
  • Assist the Compliance Specialists and Head of Compliance in administrative duties, including reports and auditing.
  • Support licensing compliance across departments and act as a point of contact for queries.
  • Support implementation of new or amended compliance obligations as set out in legislation and standards.
  • Communicate procedural changes to relevant business areas as required.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed and best practices are applied.
  • Uphold professional boundaries and BOYLE Sports values.

Job description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Executive | Core Compliance

Location: Dundalk HQ, Ireland Remote, UK Remote or Gibraltar Hybrid

Reporting to: Head of Compliance

Role Purpose

As Quality Assurance Executive at BOYLE Sports you are responsible for assisting the Core Compliance team by providing independent assurance that BOYLE Sports risk management, governance, compliance processes and policies are operating effectively, as defined by the Head of Compliance and Compliance Specialists.

Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, the role will provide a high level of support in ensuring all departments comply with the necessary regulatory compliance guidance and regulation and follow operational policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring regular monitoring of internal practices meets the regulatory requirements within the relevant jurisdictions
  • Continue to develop and maintain knowledge on all areas of regulation within the required jurisdictions
  • Working alongside the Compliance Specialist in the review of internal operational compliance processes, identifying and documenting risks and escalating these to the Compliance Specialist to determine the controls to be put in place
  • Carrying out and reporting on QA for the operational compliance team, working with the management team to ensure proper action is taken as a result of the QA output
  • Assisting the Compliance Specialists and the Head of Compliance in all administrative duties, including production of reports and auditing
  • Providing support to the business in ensuring all departments adhere to the licensing requirements, acting as a point of contact for any queries
  • Support on the introduction and implementation of new or amended compliance obligations as set out in relevant legislation, regulations, and standards
  • Support the Compliance team in implementation of required procedural changes, including communication to the relevant business areas as and when required
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are followed and that best practices are applied across the business

Education/Qualifications requirements
  • Formal Compliance qualification desirable (preferably within the gambling sector)
  • Auditing qualification and/or equivalent experience
  • Responsible Gambling training
