Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with getting up, dressing, washing, bathing and toilet needs.
• Support mobility and use of personal aids and equipment.
• Care for service users who are temporarily sick or terminally ill.
• Encourage mental and physical activities through talking, outings, reading and hobbies.
• Make and change beds, light cleaning, empty commodes and general tidying.
• Serve light meals, set tables and clear away dishes.
• Read and write reports and participate in reviews.
• Adhere to Caremark policies and report health changes to supervisor.
• Encourage independence wherever possible.
