Job summary

Comfort Keepers Ballaghaderreen is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support clients to live independently at home across your local area.

You will provide personal care, meal preparation, and medication prompts with dignity and respect, while building trusted relationships with clients and their families. Full-time or part-time roles available, with comprehensive induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
• Driving licence is beneficial for travel between visits.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable; we will support you to complete it.
• Genuine motivation to help people live independently with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assist with meals and light housekeeping as needed.
• Provide medication prompts and maintain accurate records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy; build trusted relationships.
