Job summary

Right at Home Galway is actively seeking compassionate home care workers to support clients in Roscommon Town and surrounding areas. You will travel between homes, providing personal care, prompting medication, meal preparation, and engaging in activities to promote wellbeing.

Driving is essential; owning your own car is preferred. Roles available as permanent full-time or part-time with extensive training and vetting.

Qualifications

• Driving licence and own vehicle (essential for home visits).
• Be authorised to work in Ireland and live locally.
• Be able to work alternate weekends.
• A positive personality and genuine disposition.

Responsibilities

• Travel between clients' homes throughout the day.
• Provide personal care for clients.
• Prompt medications where required and assist with medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and accompanying clients on walks or activities.
