Job summary

Access Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join a nursing home team in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. This role offers regular ongoing shifts with pay rates of €14.15–€20 per hour, including enhanced night rates and premium Sunday rates.

The ideal candidate will have QQI Level 5 and experience in Irish healthcare, with strong communication skills and a compassionate, dependable approach. Flexible day/night shifts are available to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 qualification.
• Previous experience working as a healthcare assistant in an Irish healthcare setting is essential.
• Nursing home experience is highly desirable.
• Experience providing personal care and supporting residents with complex care needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, professional and dependable approach.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
