CareChoice Group Ireland is hiring Healthcare Assistants (HCA) for Clonakilty. We offer full-time, part-time and relief hours in a supportive environment with an experienced team of healthcare professionals.

Starting rate is €15.23 per hour, with premium payments on Sundays and night shifts, plus extensive in-house training and employee supports. Join a group with over 20 years in care, committed to quality, dignity for residents, and opportunities for promotion within the expanding company.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring attitude.
• Have a good level of English language skills.
• Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to residents.
• Ensuring residents' hygiene/personal care needs are maintained with dignity.
• Assisting residents with eating and drinking in line with nutrition needs.
• Assisting residents with mobilizing using correct aids.
• Escorting or transferring residents as directed by Nursing staff.
• Assisting in End-of-Life Care.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.
