Job summary

CareChoice is seeking Healthcare Assistants for the Malahide Road on-site location in Co. Dublin, Ireland. The role offers permanent, full-time, part-time and relief positions with a starting hourly rate of €15.38.

Successful candidates will support nursing staff to deliver high-quality holistic care, maintain residents' hygiene and dignity, assist with feeding and mobility, and participate in End of Life care when required. QQI Level 5 in Healthcare is required.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or healthcare qualification required.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and caring attitude; good English.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to residents.
• Maintain residents' hygiene and personal care with dignity at all times.
• Assist residents with eating and drinking according to nutrition needs.
• Assist residents with mobilization using appropriate aids.
• Escort or transfer residents as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist in End of Life Care.
• Perform other duties as required by nurses and management.
