Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking a Community Support Worker to deliver individualized community support across Kerry. You will work in clients' homes and communities to enhance social and daily living skills, guided by families and partners.

A focus on autism support and self-advocacy is encouraged. Requirements include QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, 1+ year experience in disability services, and a full driving license.

Qualifications

QQI Level 5 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Experience with autism is highly desirable or willingness to develop skills.
Willingness to undertake RehabCare training programmes.
Minimum one year in intellectual/physical/mental health disability.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop and monitor community-based programmes with families and partners.
Establish respectful relationships and set mutual expectations.
Support positive self-image and social inclusion aligned with age and culture.
Develop a community profile to identify meaningful roles.
Maintain accurate records using RehabCare’s online system; attend interviews on Nov 11, 2026.
