Job summary

Cope Foundation in Ireland seeks a flexible, motivated Support Worker to collaborate with individuals’ circles of support and their local community, developing opportunities in a person-centred, social model of support.

Applicants must hold QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare/Intellectual Disability, have English fluency, understand relevant legislation, and bring IT/report writing skills; eligibility to work in Ireland is required.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare/Intellectual Disability completed (all modules).
• Understand current legislation (ADMA, UNCRPD).
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Track record of person-centred thinking and adaptability.
• IT skills and experience in report writing.
• Valid work permission and eligibility to work in Ireland.
