Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 seeks a Part-Time Personal Care Assistant to support a student in a school setting. The role involves instructional, behavioral and personal care assistance under the supervision of a teacher and program supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credential options: PDE paraeducator credential or complete within 6 months.
• 2 years of postsecondary study with 48 credits required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Rigorous standard demonstrated by an approved assessment within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support per the student's IEP.
• Work under the classroom teacher and program supervisor.
• This assignment is for a school year and can terminate based on student needs.
