Job summary

DONEGAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a part-time Life Skills instructional/educational assistant to support teachers in the classroom and life skills areas. The role covers both junior high and high school assignments and follows the student schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, assisting students, and handling clerical tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professional interactions with staff and families.

Qualifications

• At least two years of post-secondary education or an associate degree or higher.
• Strong computer proficiency and basic clerical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares instructional materials for teacher and student use.
• Carries out teachers' directions for instructional support.
• Monitors and assists individual students as required.
• Performs clerical duties as assigned.
• Monitors the physical environment and reports problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the teachers or principal.
• Maintains courtesy and confidentiality in staff relations.
