We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Company Secretarial professionals looking for the next step in their career.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, corporate governance, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in financial services working within a company secretarial role.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish funds industry, investment funds, fund governance, regulatory frameworks, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, and delivering high-quality client service.
Role and responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of regulated fund entities, ensuring accurate preparation, coordination, and delivery of agendas, board packs, board papers, governance materials, and minutes for board and committee meetings.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with clients, directors, investment managers, service providers, and key stakeholders across the funds ecosystem.
- Track, manage, and follow up on board actions, governance matters, regulatory issues, and client deliverables, ensuring timely updates and effective issue resolution ahead of subsequent meetings.
- Act as a key communication channel and trusted governance partner for directors, clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure corporate governance compliance with constitutional documents, regulatory obligations, Central Bank of Ireland requirements, statutory filings, and ongoing governance standards.
- Monitor developments in corporate governance, company law, fund regulation, and industry best practice to advise directors and support compliance with their duties, responsibilities, and personal obligations.
- Act as a role model, mentor, and escalation point for junior members of the Company Secretarial team, supporting knowledge sharing, capability development, and operational excellence.
- Support wider governance, risk, compliance, client service, and operational initiatives as required.
