Job summary

Corlann – West Region, Clonard Adult Services, Castlerea area, is recruiting a Permanent Full-Time Team Leader (Social Care Leader Grade). This role reports to the Team Manager and leads frontline teams in delivering person-centred care in line with national standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a QQI Level 6 in Health and Social Care Management, have at least three years post-qualification experience with intellectual disability, and possess strong leadership and governance skills.

Qualifications

• Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU.
• Or eligible under the Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register - CORU.
• Hold a QQI Level 6 qualification in Health and Social Care Management (required).
• Minimum of three years post-qualification experience working with people with an Intellectual Disability.
• Experience in autism and behaviours of concern would be advantageous.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• A full clean manual Driving Licence to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of services and supervise teams.
• Support person-centred planning in line with Personal Outcome Measures.
• Assist the Team Manager with resource and staff management, rosters and development.
• Ensure compliance with national standards and best practice.
• Promote community integration and active citizenship for people with disabilities.
