Job summary

ALONE is recruiting a dedicated Support Coordinator to assist older people across Wicklow, coordinating services and connecting clients with community supports. Field-based role with travel within the community and requirement for a clean driving licence and own car.

You will engage with partners, develop personalised plans, and monitor outcomes while adhering to ALONE’s quality standards and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for improving the lives of older people and commitment to ALONE’s mission.
• Strong problem-solving skills with needs assessment and resource allocation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with technology and data management systems for reporting and service delivery.
• Good organisational and multitasking abilities with a solution-focused approach.
• Keen attention to detail for accurate records and monitoring.
• Ability to set and achieve SMART targets to maximise impact.
• Self-starter able to work independently with stakeholders.
• Must have full clean driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide support coordination by devising personalised support plans to address challenges.
• Provide access to ALONE’s services while coordinating and enabling access to other community services.
• Advocate for older people's needs within health, social care, and welfare services.
