Job summary

Tipperary Credit Union is recruiting a Business Development Officer to drive member-focused growth across SME lending, mortgages and broader financial services. The role is full-time, based at the head office in Tipperary town, with travel across the common bond.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build community relationships, collaborate with Lending and Marketing, and drive growth strategies. A degree in Business/Finance is preferred; QFA or willingness to pursue is desirable; a full driving

Qualifications

• Primary degree in Business/Finance preferred.
• QFA desirable or willingness to pursue.
• 3 years’ experience in business development within financial services, preferably with SME and mortgage exposure.

Responsibilities

• Drive sustainable, member-focused growth across SME lending, mortgage services and wider financial services.
• Support increased lending, membership, and engagement by building community relationships.
• Collaborate with the Lending and Marketing functions and act as a visible ambassador for the credit union.
