Job summary

New Ross Credit Union Limited is recruiting a Lender to join the lending team. The role covers end-to-end lending processes, underwriting, and providing service support to the member services team.

The successful candidate should have 3-5 years lending experience in financial services (credit union/banking desirable) and be eligible for APA or QFA, or willing to work towards qualification. Strong communication, ICT skills, and ability to meet targets are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years lending experience in the Financial Services Sector (credit union/banking desirable).
• Experience in mortgages, SME or Agri lending desirable.

Responsibilities

• Completing end-to-end lending process across NRCU products (home improvement and personal lending).
• Conducting loan interviews with members and obtaining underwriting information.
• Completing detailed analysis and assessment in underwriting each type of loan.
• Operating within the lending discretion framework.
• Establishing positive relationships with members and maintaining lending records to audit standards.
• Promoting and developing the lending offering within NRCU catchment area.
