Job summary

IRD North Mayo West Sligo CLG is sponsoring a Community Employment Scheme and seeks a Supervisor to manage up to 46 participants. You will coordinate with the Assistant Supervisor to meet scheme goals and report to the General Manager of Operations & Business Development, ensuring DEASP guidelines are followed.

Ideal candidates have NFQ Level 6 in HR/Business, at least 3 years of supervisory experience, and strong MS Office skills with excellent communication and financial management abilities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the needs of the long-term unemployed.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Excellent proven financial management skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Minimum NFQ Level 6 (Major) in HR, Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience.
• Driving license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of up to 46 Community Employment Participants.
• Co-ordinating with the Assistant Supervisor to deliver the goals of the scheme.
• Reporting to the General Manager of Operations & Business Development.
