Job summary

Bluebird Care Ireland is seeking a Home Support Nurse in Tipperary. The role provides evidence-based, person-centred nursing care in the client’s own home, supported by a nurse-led team and local clinical supervision.

Applicants must be registered with NMBI; community-based experience is desirable and training is provided. Tracheostomy experience is desirable; flexible hours including school, day, night, full-time & part-time are available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI.
• Community based nursing experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Tracheostomy experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client's care plans.
• Prioritise the needs and comforts of the client.
• Work closely with family members.
• Promote the client as an individual with kindness, compassion and respect.
• Be committed to the care and concern of the client.
