Connexus Recruit is seeking a commercially minded, curious individual to join its growing eCommerce business in Dublin. The role is intentionally broad, spanning eCommerce, pricing, product, suppliers, sales, marketing, data and wider commercial projects.
You will analyze data, support website projects, engage in pricing and content initiatives, work with suppliers and internal teams, and look for smarter ways to work using Excel, AI and automation.
We are recruiting for a growing eCommerce business looking to add a smart, commercially minded and naturally curious person to its commercial team.
This is an unusual opportunity and deliberately a broad one.
Rather than sitting within one specific area, you'll get exposure across eCommerce, pricing, product, suppliers, sales, marketing, data and wider commercial projects.
The Commercial Director described the role as a bit of a “Swiss Army knife” – someone who enjoys getting involved in different challenges, figuring things out and finding better ways of doing things.
Depending on the project, you could be:
Your exact background isn’t particularly important.
You could currently be working in commercial, eCommerce, sales, marketing, operations, analytics, category/product or another related area.
What is more important is how you think.
You do not need to be a developer, coder or AI expert.
We’re much more interested in someone who is already curious about tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, automation, Excel, APIs or similar technologies and enjoys experimenting with how they can solve everyday business problems.
Perhaps you’ve used AI to analyse information, automate a repetitive task, improve a spreadsheet, generate some basic code or simply find a quicker way of getting something done.
That curiosity is exactly what we’re looking for.
You’ll work closely with an experienced Commercial Director and gain exposure to multiple areas of a successful eCommerce business.
There isn’t a rigid career path attached to the role. Instead, the intention is that as you develop, you’ll take on greater ownership and responsibility.
Over time, that could mean taking responsibility for areas such as pricing, product/content, marketing, eCommerce or wider commercial projects.
For someone ambitious, commercially curious and interested in how technology is changing the way businesses operate, there is plenty of room to make the role your own.
