Job summary

Intact Insurance Ireland is seeking a Commercial Lines Product Owner to lead the technology roadmap, bridging business and IT to deliver transformation initiatives that improve underwriting, broker engagement, pricing, and policy administration. You will own the product backlog, align priorities with business value, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role is a 12-month secondment/contract opportunity, ideal for someone who thrives in business transformation, technology-enabled

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or related roles.
Strong understanding of Commercial Lines insurance, underwriting processes, broker distribution, and policy administration.
Experience delivering change with business and technology teams to improve processes.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyse information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the vision, roadmap, and priorities for the Commercial Lines Technology Roadmap.
Act as the primary Commercial Lines representative for transformation initiatives and reflect business needs in delivery priorities.
Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising features and technical requirements by business value and risks.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand challenges and shape solutions delivering measurable value.
Support delivery of initiatives across underwriting, broker engagement, pricing, policy administration, data, and automation capabilities.
Provide clear direction to delivery teams and ensure alignment with business goals and milestones.
Engage stakeholders regularly to gather feedback, resolve issues, and maintain buy-in for change initiatives.
